SRMTB Try-It-Out Ride

Who: Grades 5-12 boys and girls
What: Learn about the team, ride bikes, play games and have fun!
Where: Laura Bush Elementary in Steiner Ranch (12600 Country Trails Ln, Austin, TX 78732) (Look for the SRMTB Flags)
When: 9am - 11am Saturday October the 3rd
Coaches will stick around after to answer all the questions you might have about our team and league!!
Texas NICA Try-It-Out events are free, beginner-friendly mountain biking gatherings for students in grades 5–12 and their families to experience the Texas Interscholastic Mountain Bike League.
What to Expect
- Trail rides: Short, guided rides suited for all skill levels on local dirt paths.
- Games: On and off the bike games
- Gear help: Assistance with bike setup, helmet checks, and general equipment questions.
- Community: Opportunities to meet local youth mountain bike coaches, parents, and student-athletes.
- No pressure: Perfect for beginners who want to see what joining a NICA team is all about.
What to Bring
- A mountain bike: A functional bike suitable for off-road dirt trails.
- A helmet: A properly fitted bicycle helmet.
- Hydration: Water bottle or hydration pack.
- Shoes: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
Complete the WAIVER, and have the confirmation email ready to show at check-in.
